Apparently due to Covid-19, the PASS Summit 2020 will not be live in Houston, TX. This is disappointing but necessary because of circumstances. Many were interested to see the affects of moving the Summit to another city.
So, what’s going on?
First, the call for speakers is open again allowing many from around the country to get a chance to talk – virtually. This is going to be interesting because of so many speakers that submitted before the changes and were expecting the selection to be already happening.
Next, the cost is changing
Though less expensive, it is going to be different for pre-conference sessions as well as ‘community’ events. Networking is a big deal at Summit, so it will be interesting to see how this is going to happen. If I were a first time attendee, I would jump on the $899 All-In-One package because of the 2 pre-conference sessions you are able to attend plus 12 months On Demand access to 3-day sessions.
More to Come???
Yes, I would suggest following the twitter handle (@SQLPASS) and the hash tag #SQLPass for more information and board member blogs about the changes.
