So, Microsoft made the change. The button in the lower left now let’s you switch between Fabric path versus Power BI path instead of Personas (Data Engineer, Data Science, Power BI, etc.)


This is a great change to help those who are not using Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, etc.) and want the view to reflect just using Power BI. I personally think there is going to be so time before Fabric is mainstream in the data transformation world and a lot of the POC (Proof of Concept) implementations are weeding through the issues with new software.
The Fabric view does help pinpoint the artifacts most used in data engineering and data science.


The Power BI view is much simpler going back to the Power BI service days.
